As Far As Little Onn

We left Norbury Wharf after a nice  catch up chat with Maggie and Bernice (NB Blue Diamond ). Yes we did have cake.....two slices of Victoria sponge to take away.

Ben and I had a walk as far as the stop lock which is there to isolate the section of canal if necessary.  It was hot and he'd had enough as he was just slowly following me.

Back on board time for coffees before we reached Gnosall where we stopped to visit the bakery. It's  a convenience store selling  all sorts of things including strawberries and cream. We had a pasties for lunch and an hour later we moved on.

We stopped at  Little  Onn before Wheaton Aston because it's  quiet and we didn't  want to moor under trees on the visitor moorings at Wheaton Aston. The heron was fishing in front of the boat not at all bothered by us mooring up.
