Yesterday Liz and I took the dogs to some woods the other side of town and it was lovely as we had them to ourselves so the dogs had a really good run. We were out about an hour and a half as we had plans to go out to lunch somewhere different- Nick and Liz were taking us in their car. We enjoyed the journey taking in the scenery around the Horseshoe Pass and arrived along a pot holed road to Bodidrid Hall. Very nice inside with oak beams and an open fire where they looked at us and said £5.95 menu...usually they just give you the menus! Apparently in the lounge it's a that price, dearer in the restaurant but no one told you about this. Eric asked to see the other menu with two courses at £9.95, three courses at £12.95. Not a lot of choice but we chose our meals and enjoyed the pleasant surroundings. Service was leisurely but the meals arrived and a few drinks and a pudding later we were ready to leave the warmth of the log fire. Brr it felt cold outside! Nick took us to have a quick look around Mold- a place we've never been to but we weren't there long as it was so cold Eric had the shivers. Thanks To Nick and Liz for a lovely afternoon.
