Sunshine In Llangollen- A Walk To Horseshoe Falls

Horseshoe Falls on the River Dee
Just come back from a walk in the sunshine, which makes a pleasant change from all the rain we've been having. I must remind myself it's much better than all the snow of ice of last Winter. Liz and Connie came too and  the dogs got filthy with all the mud and puddles on the towpath. That section of towpath hasn't been resurfaced yet. There's plenty of water in the River Dee and a few canoeists were braving the rapids. Even in the sunshine the wind was cold but we were wrapped up so it didn't matter. The cold didn't stop the dogs having a wash in the canal by the marina basin when we threw sticks in the shallow edges. It was the quickest way to get rid of the dirt. Back on the boat for a towel dry and Ben was happy.

We met some walkers looking for the waterfall- we hope they weren't too disappointed to see the weir at the Horseshoe Falls!
